Treaty Versailles IWM Art2856The Treaty of Peace concluding the Great War in Europe was signed by the Allied and Associated Powers and Germany in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles on 28 June 1919. It was the conclusion of the Paris Peace Conference, also known as the Versailles Peace Conference, the meeting of the victorious Allied Powers following the end of the Great War (First World War) to determine terms for the defeated Central Powers.
