Uniform, belt and beret of a Warrant Officer of The Ulster Defence Regiment

This khaki Service Dress, belt and beret belonged to a Warrant Officer, or Sergeant Major in the 2nd Battalion of the Ulster Defence Regiment which was based in the City and County of Armagh. One of several posts held by this Warrant Officer in 2 UDR was that of Company Sergeant Major to a Part Time company. In that capacity he organised and attended many funerals of the female and male soldiers of 2 UDR who were murdered by terrorists.
