CAMBRAI11 INNISKSThe attacks at Cambrai in November 1917 pressed forward again on 21 November, the second day of the Battle of Cambrai.

The 7th/8th Battalion The Royal Irish Fusiliers took part in the morning advance and, though it suffered few casualties, little progress was made as German resistance once again stiffened. When the Battalion was relieved in the afternoon, it had lost 4 officers and 101 soldiers killed or wounded. Most of the casualties were in B Company.
