HRH The Duchess of Gloucester presents The Colours.
Her Royal Highness Princess Alice, The Duchess of Gloucester, assisted by Lt Col C M Brennan MC, presents the 2nd Battalion Regimental Colour to the Ensign, Lt C R L Hutchison.

HRH The Duchess of Gloucester presented the first Stands of Colours to 1 R IRISH, 2 R IRISH and 4 (V) R IRISH (NIM), at Battlesbury Barracks, Warminster on Tuesday, 4 July 1972.
